WHAT CAN GIRL SCOUTS DO FOR YOU?

GROWTH

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Our units here in Geneva support Girl Scouts of all backgrounds and abilities to discover their strengths and rise to meet new challenges—whether they want to climb to the top of a tree or the top of their class, lace up their boots for a hike or advocate for climate justice, or make their first best friends.

COMMUNITY

  • 86% of girls say their leader makes them feel important, 80% say their leader helps them pursue their goals, and 70% say their leader helps them think about the future.
  • 99% of parents/caregivers tell us their girl’s leader made her feel like part of a group, and 94% of them say their girl’s leader made their whole family feel like part of a community.

Achievement

Girls will have the opportunity to earn badges for accomplishing goals and learning new skills. Check out some of the great patches your girl can earn this year:

Badges and Patches program

The patches aren’t the point, but they can sure be a fun part of the process!
